Hair Extensions

Xtra-Hair offers a full consultancy service on how to enhance your hair exactly how you would like it to be.

At XTra-Hair we use only the best quality ProHair fibre and also the best quality human hair which is 'double drawn' as opposed to 'single drawn' where shorter hairs are found among the long.  Our human hair is also root-point correct with the cuticle intact ensuring that the hair will lie correctly with our customer's own hair.

We provide a choice of Premium and European hair.

Our genuine European hair is now getting very scarce because of it's popularity and accordingly is rather more expensive.

The Premium range is sourced from beyond Europe but has a similar texture and thickness as true European hair.  This exceptionally high quality human hair is our most popular range as it is as natural looking as your own hair and is very competitively priced.

Fibre Hair Extensions

Extensions are attached beneath the natural hair by dividing it into small sections then braiding Prohair™ fibre into the natural hair for approximately 1 inch. Fibre is then wrapped around the extension and sealed. The braid is then released leaving the extension looking completely natural.

Human Hair Extensions

Extensions are applied by taking small sections of the natural hair and adding equal amounts of human hair. These are placed under the natural hair by a bonding method leaving a seal approximately the size of a grain of rice.

A full head of extensions normally takes approximately 2 to 3 hours to insert and will last up to 3 months when cared for correctly.
